10 Year Warranty
At Oceanic Teak Furniture, we stand behind the integrity of our products. We offer a 10-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship from the original date of purchase.
What is Covered
We guarantee that our furniture and its components will remain free from significant problems caused by material defects or substandard construction.

Teak Wood Integrity: Coverage against rotting, decay, or significant splitting and cracking (beyond normal seasonal movement) that results in the failure of the item.

Hardware: Coverage against rusting of metal components (beyond normal wear) and loose or failing joints due to defective hardware.

Workmanship: Protection against errors or substandard quality in the construction process.
What is Not Covered
To ensure the longevity of your teak, it is important to understand the natural characteristics of wood and the limits of this warranty:

Natural Weathering: Normal wear and tear, including natural graying (patina), sun fading, and minor surface scratches or dings.

Seasonal Movement: Slight cracking (checking) or minor warping due to natural changes in temperature and humidity.

Improper Care: Damage from harsh chemicals, mold/mildew growth, or modifications made to the furniture.

Environmental Factors: Damage from accidents, extreme weather events or prolonged exposure to dampness (leaving furniture in direct contact with dirt or grass for extended periods).

Non-Residential Use: This warranty does not apply to furniture used in commercial settings (restaurants, hotels, rentals, etc.) A 6 month warranty applies in these cases.

Previous Purchases: Items purchased before January 2025.

Outlet/Clearance Items: Furniture purchased as “Outlet” or “Warehouse Clearance” is protected by a 6 month warranty only.
Warranty Remedies & Shipping
If a defect is found within the 10-year period, Oceanic Teak Furniture will, at our discretion, repair or replace the defective components. If repair or replacement is not feasible, we may offer a credit toward a new piece of furniture.

| First 12 Months | Oceanic Teak Furniture covers all shipping costs for returns and replacements. |
| After 12 Months | The customer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs for returns and replacements. |
Note: Customers are responsible for the disassembly and reassembly of any provided replacement components.
How to Make a Claim
All warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser. To begin a claim, please email sales@oceanicteakfurniture.com with the following:

Proof of Purchase: Your original receipt or order details.

Photographs: Clear, close-up photos of the defective area(s).

Description: A detailed explanation of the defect and how it occurred.
