How will I know when my order will ship?
An estimated shipping date is listed at the top of every product page. Once your order is placed, you can monitor its progress by clicking the ‘Order Status’ link at the top right of our home page using your email address and order number.
Do you have a showroom where I can see the products?
We do not. Our location is a warehouse only and is not open to the public. To keep our prices as low as possible, we do not maintain a showroom; all of our furniture can be viewed in detail on our website.
What happens if my order arrives with a damaged item?
Simply email us at sales@oceanicteakfurniture.com with your order number/name, a brief description of the damage, and a photo. We will deal with any issues promptly to minimize your inconvenience.
Can I buy Tables or Chairs Separately?
You may choose from many options for dining chairs and/or tables as individual items.
Is Shipping Completely Free?
Yes! We offer free shipping on all orders to the 48 contiguous states. We have extensive experience shipping large orders and take every precaution to ensure yours arrives intact.

Nantucket & Martha’s Vineyard: We ship to Cape Cod Express, where customers can arrange final delivery (local carriers typically charge around $200 for this service).
Does the furniture need to have a finish applied?

No: If you prefer to let it weather naturally to a silver-gray patina.

What grade teak do you use?
We use Grade A teak for all of our furniture. It features a beautiful, fine finish that is silky smooth to the touch.
Is your furniture kiln dried?
Yes. All Grade A teak used in our furniture is kiln-dried to approximately 8% moisture content for maximum stability.
How long does my order take to arrive?
Once an order leaves our warehouse, we generally advise allowing an average of 7–10 days for transit time.
I have black mildew on my furniture, how can I remove it?
Existing mildew can be removed with an outdoor bleach solution (e.g., Clorox) in a garden sprayer. Usually, spraying the area will remove most marks. For stubborn areas, use a teak cleaner or light sanding. To prevent future growth, occasionally wash the furniture with a mild detergent/bleach mixture.
There are small crack & splits on my furniture, is this normal?
Yes, this is completely normal. Over time, teak may flex or warp slightly, and small cracks (known as checking) may appear. This is a natural characteristic of hardwood and does not affect the strength or durability of the piece.
When do you take payment?
In line with most large furniture stores, your card is charged at the time the order is placed.
Security Statement
Your information is absolutely secure. Your details are kept on a certified SSL secure server and are never shared or sold to third parties. We do not store your credit card details, nor do we have access to them at any point during or after the transaction.
Do you sell your furniture on Amazon?
No. We do not sell through third parties, eBay, Amazon, Wayfair, or Hayneedle. The only way to purchase authentic Oceanic Teak Furniture is directly through our website, ensuring you get the best price and service.
