Welcome to Oceanic Teak Furniture. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Shipping & Delivery

  • Service Area: Free shipping applies strictly to the 48 contiguous United States. We do not offer free delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, or any offshore islands.

  • Freight (LTL) Shipments: Most products are large and heavy. Standard delivery includes curbside service with a liftgate. The driver will lower the pallet to the ground as close to your home as safely possible. Drivers are not required to assist with carrying furniture into the home; we recommend having at least two people present for delivery.

  • Ground Shipments: UPS Ground shipments do not require a signature unless requested. Proof of delivery from the carrier serves as confirmation of arrival.

  • Schedules: Shipping dates are estimates based on normal conditions and may be affected by seasonal demand. We are not responsible for unforeseen delays but will notify you promptly of any backorders or changes.

2. Inspection & Damage Claims

  • Mandatory Inspection: You must inspect all items upon delivery. If a shipment arrives with visible damage to the boxes or furniture, you must note the damage on the delivery receipt/Bill of Lading before the driver leaves.

  • Reporting: Shortages or damages must be reported immediately to sales@oceanicteakfurniture.com. We will repair or replace damaged/defective items at no cost to you.

  • Do Not Refuse Shipments: If you refuse a commercial freight delivery for any reason, the order will be treated as a return. In this case, all shipping charges (outgoing and return) and a restocking fee of up to 30% will be deducted from your refund.

3. Returns & Cancellations

  • 30-Day Policy: Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt for a full refund of the merchandise cost, provided it is in “as new” condition.

  • Shipping Costs: We pay for outgoing shipping; the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. The customer must properly repackage and secure the merchandise to ensure a safe return.

  • Non-Returnable Items: All Cushions (including furniture sets where cushions are included) and Umbrellas are classified as custom orders and are final sale.

  • Restocking Fees: No restocking fees are charged for standard returns in “as new” condition. However, we reserve the right to charge up to a 30% restocking fee for refused deliveries or unauthorized returns.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • Payment: We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Your card is charged at the time the order is placed.

  • Adjustments: Prices are subject to change or correction at any time without prior notice.

5. Limitation of Liability

Oceanic Teak Furniture shall not be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the products on this site or the performance of the products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Modifications

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the website following any changes constitutes your agreement to the new terms.
